Sir William Wallace was a Scottish knight who became one of the main leaders during the First War of Scottish Independence. Along with Andrew Moray, Wallace defeated an English army at the Battle of Stirling Bridge in September 1297. He was later captured, hanged, drawn and quartered for high treason. He is revered as the Guardian of Scotland, and is one of Scotland's most well-known leaders. This wonderful cold cast polyresin statue depicts Sir William Wallace in battle armor, with a sword in one hand, a shield in the other. The statue has a beautiful metallic bronze finish, with hand-painted accents to bring out the impressive detail. He stands 11.25 inches tall, 5.25 inches long, 3.75 inches wide, and has felt-like fabric on the bottom to prevent your furniture from being scratched.
